Supporting the Rights of Afghan Military Personnel

Supporting the Rights of Afghan Military Personnel who, due to Taliban threats and insecure conditions, have faced isolation and vulnerability requires comprehensive and multifaceted actions.

  • Protective Programs: Establish protective programs for military personnel and their families who are under Taliban threats, and, if they come to Iran, prevent their forced deportation.
  • Advocacy for Imprisoned Military Personnel: Advocate for military personnel detained by the Taliban.
  • Support Networks: Develop social and support networks for military personnel and their families to share experiences and support one another.
  •  Training and Empowerment: Conduct training sessions to help military personnel find new employment opportunities and empower them to adapt to new living conditions.
  • Engagement with International Organizations: Collaborate with international organizations and human rights institutions to raise global awareness of the situation of military personnel and their families and to request support.
  • Promoting a Culture of Appreciation: Increase public awareness about the challenges and needs of military personnel, especially in local communities, to foster a sense of solidarity and support.
